Arrow FM (now More Radio Hastings) was founded in 1992 by two local radio executives, Mark Briggs and Matthew Wheeler, who conducted a series of RSL pilot broadcasts in both Hastings and Eastbourne.

Silk 106.9 is an Independent Local Radio serving Macclesfield and parts of East Cheshire, owned and operated by neighbouring station Dee 106.3. It broadcasts a mix of current and classic hits alongside local news and sport.

The station launched as Silk FM with special guest Sammy McIlroy, then manager of the Macclesfield Town.

Playing a mix of adult contemporary music, it combines presenter-led shows with local news and information, entertainment guides and competitions. The station forms part of the Bauer City network. Almost its entire output is locally produced.
