30 years ago today, The Movie Game first airs on BBC 1

1988-The_Movie_GameChildren’s game show The Movie Game ran for eight series and three Christmas specials, asking teams of children questions about movies and win the chance to meet famous people in films.

The programme was presented by Phillip Schofield (1988-90), Jonathon Morris (1991-93) and John Barrowman (1994-95), all assisted by Lectrix, a “robot” played by robotic dancer Roger Bunnage.
