Morecambe_FC_BadgeToday in 1920 Morecambe Football Club was formed after a meeting at the West View Hotel in Morecambe, Lancashire, England. The club then took its place in the Lancashire Combination League for the 1920–21 season. They currently play in League Two, the fourth tier of English football. In 2007, they were promoted for the first time into the Football League.

From 1921 to 2010, home matches were played at Christie Park. In 2010, the club moved to Globe Arena.
